The aim is to:
o Implement the Applications of theoretical education
o Train qualified human resources for the financial sector,
o Increase the cooperation between public institutions and financial institution in the neighborhood,
o Developing professional skills in the areas of economics and finance.
Because of the fact that Istanbul is becoming a Finance Center and the establishment of İstanbul Stock Market, finance education needs to be more qualified and equipped. BAU Financial Research and Application Center that provides with this qualified and equipped background and by its strong technical base and research related to Bloomberg, Foreks databases and finance market, it will contribute to field as well.
One of the goals of the center is to share analysis that will guide the financial sector by providing data analysis reports and economic expectations index that economy and finance sector needs. By this, both national and international finance market will be able to benefit from our center’s output and İstanbul’s image of International Finance Center will be stronger. It is aimed to increase the cooperation between public institutions and finance institutions in the region by using finance center base.
This center will provide Bahçeşehir University students a real market experience in portfolio management by using real data virtual currency.
