Faculty of Communication - New Media

Revolutionary changes in newsgathering and news writing through new media devices require a new educational program. Our motive is to construct a new curriculum that includes training in new modes of communication and news content production. Our objective is to prepare our graduates for the world of the new media by equipping them with all the necessary tools and enable them to find employment in numerous fields ranging from classical to Internet journalism and all the forms of social media.

Students graduated from the New Media Department are qualified to work in national and international print and audio-visual media as well as in the new media of the virtual world as journalists, reporters, columnists, editors, critics, press and media advisors, customer representatives, public opinion poll researchers, social media (Facebook, Twitter, blogging, etc.) experts. Outlets in which our graduates may find employment include newspapers, magazines, TV and radio stations, advertising agencies, publication houses, film production and distribution companies.
