About Us
Bahçeşehir University Distance Education Unit is established on 04.12.2008 in order to lead and guide technology and education field interaction within the scope of our university. Since 2008 till today it’s aim and focus is to increase the usage of educational Technologies in both face to face courses and online courses. Since this unit first established many techno-pedagogic trainings have been provided to all our students and our academic members not only in specific groups but also one-to-one. Besides this, to all institutions and organisations within the scope of BAU GLOBAL technology transformation consultancy has been provided for 11 years. Also, with the awareness of being an educational institution, many social responsibility projects were done the honours.
Beside transformations in BAU, Distance Education Unit also provides rapid techno-pedagogic solutions for pioneer and leading companies. Thus, Office of Distance Education Unit contributes to efficient usage and dissemination of technology and education cooperating with leading companies in Turkey.
All studies with regard to distance education must be approved and organized by the related department and Asst. Prof. Ergün AKGÜN.
