Dear students,
We have continued our educational activities to the extent allowed by the rules and circumstances in line with the decisions of the T.R Ministry of Health, the Council of Higher Education and our University by taking your health into consideration during the pandemic period, through intense efforts and your support. Fortunately, we seized the opportunity to be with you thanks to many virtual events held by the departments and centers in addition to the courses we gave.
We are very excited and happy to be together in the courses with updated content, in certificate programs we will conduct with external stakeholders, in branded courses and many events to support your development during the Spring Term to begin on 01 March 2021. We would like to be at our campus with you in the spring term. However, the high number of cases and the high risk of transmission caused by the new mutated variants of the virus require us to strictly comply with the precautions. As always, our campuses will be open for you within the framework of the pandemic circumstances.
The Spring 2021 courses of our Faculty are planned in accordance with the hybrid University model. In the following days, unless any different direction is given from T.R Ministry of Health and Science Committee and any decision is made by YOK, some of our courses will be held online while others will be held in hybrid model. We have completed the necessary studies to adapt into the face-to-face education we have planned as hybrid in parallel with the decreases observed in the number of cases. Within the framework of the hybrid educational model, our courses will be able to be held face-to-face during some weeks with limited number of participants in line with the direction of the Council of Higher Education. Also, we are very happy to state that we continue to prepare for holding all of our academical activities to be held during Summer term face-to-face.
As you all know, as BAU family we committed ourselves and accordingly work to ensure that your university education is not interrupted, and that the distance education system can proceed healthy and smoothly. We really miss you. We feel your absence. In this process, your messages, comments and requests helped us a lot. We would like to hear your voice and listen to your opinion all the time.
