Important Information about 2020 - 2021 BAU Graduation Ceremony and Possible Graduate Lists

Dear graduates,

Our country, alongside the whole world, has been under the threat of the pandemic for a long time. Unfortunately, humanity continues to experience serious problems due to the addition of economic problems to the great pain of loss of life. We wish humanity to go through this process as soon as possible in the light of science with the gain of internalizing the value of solidarity.

Unfortunately, you experienced the last semesters of your university education when the whole world was trying to go through a heavy pandemic with quarantining and wearing masks. In this difficult process, as BAU, we continued our education life as a hybrid education despite of everything. Although the taste of being face to face and side by side is different… We were lucky because you, our students, who can understand the world very well, have a high level of consciousness and common sense.

Regardless of everything, together we overcame all the difficulties, you succeeded and here you are graduating.

We planned to hold our graduation ceremony, which we celebrate with great enthusiasm every year, in two stages this year due to the pandemic. We will hold our first ceremony on the online platform on July 25, 2021, with our whole family together. We will hold our second ceremony on the basis of faculties and departments in Future Campus between 26-30 July in accordance with the following program and observing the pandemic rules. Our graduates, who might not be able to come to the campus, will be able to participate online if they want to attend the second ceremony. Again with enthusiasm and joy, as in the days when we were all together. We believe that while the honorable BAU diploma will bring a bright future to your life, you will always keep this ceremony alive in your heart as a memory of your unforgettable BAU years.

We wish you a new life full of success, happiness, and health.

Despite the sadness of separation, we are happy to know that we will always be together in thought, science, work, service, and success on the virtuous path of humanity.

FACULTY AND DEPARTMENT BASED CEREMONY PROGRAM

Place: BAU Future Campus

• The Online Graduation Ceremony can be watched on the Youtube account of Bahçeşehir University. https://www.youtube.com/user/bahcesehiruniversity
• After graduation ceremony is over, graduates will attend the graduation ceremonies at Future Campus based on the dates and times specified according to the departments of the faculties. For our graduates who will not attend the future campus ceremony, they will be able to follow the ceremony on Bahçeşehir University Youtube account.
• For pandemic reasons, in face to face graduation ceremony 2 guests of the students can attend. Our graduates should be at the Future Campus one hour before the ceremony starts.
• Rental office for graduation robe will be established in the B204 classroom between the dates of 28.06.2021 and 17.08.2021 and between 09.30 and 12.00, and 13.00 and 16.00. Rented graduated robes can be returned between the dates of 02.08.2021 and 28.08.2021, and between 09:30- 12:00, and 13:00-16:00 against receipt. Office is closed on Sundays.) 
• We kindly ask you to follow the posts about the graduation ceremony and provide support on our university social media accounts.
• The participation criteria for the graduation ceremony are as follows; If you consider yourself that you have met the graduation criteria and your name is not included in the list, you can make a request on [email protected] by entering your student ID, TR ID No, name and surname, department and faculty.

 

2020-2021 GRADUATION CEREMONY CRITERIA

Associate;

• Students who enrolled at Vocational School of Health Services in the associate degree in 2018-2019 academic year and the following years who have 33 credits left (except the courses they enrolled for this semester)
• Students who graduated in 2020-2021 fall semester.

Undergraduate;

• Students who enrolled their undergraduate education in 2016-2017 academic year and following years in their major department who have 33 credits left (except the courses they enrolled for this semester)
• Students who graduated in 2020-2021 fall semester.

Master's Degree ;

• For Project Programs;

           Already graduated,

           Students who have completed all their courses and have taken project course

• For Thesis Programs;

          Already graduated,

          Students who have taken the Thesis 2 course,
