Times Higher Education (THE), the world's most reputable rating agency, has announced the results of its '2022 THE Asian Universities ranking. In the ranking of the best universities in the Asian Region, Tsinghua University (China) was the first, Peking University (China) was the second, and the National University of Singapore (Singapore) was the third. Among the foundation universities from Turkey, Çankaya, Koç, Sabancı, Bilkent, and Bahçeşehir Universities were at the top of the list.
THE Asia Universities ranking measures the performance of world universities using 13 indicators and aims to make an academic performance mapping covering the Asian continent. The number of universities that can enter the ranking in Turkey increased from 43 to 66, with an increase of 53%. Universities were evaluated mainly in teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
Asian Continent's Best Universities with International Outlook Announced
The foundation universities that entered the list from Turkey in the field of "International Outlook" were Çankaya University, Koç University, Sabancı University, Bilkent University and Bahçeşehir University.
Bahçeşehir University (BAU) ranked 4th among the foundation universities from Turkey in the "Research" category, after Sabancı University, Koç University and Bilkent University.
