Who Can Benefit From the Additional Exam?

 1. Non-thesis Master’s Programme students must meet the following conditions in order to take the additional exam:

•   Students who take the courses in the program curriculum and the project course but cannot achieve a 3.00 GPA.
•   Students who are successful in the project course but failed at least 1 and at most 2 courses.

2. Thesis Master's Program students must meet the following conditions in order to take the additional exam:

• Students who successfully complete eight courses within four semesters but fail to achieve a 3.00 GPA.
• Students who are in their fourth semester and have taken the course together with Thesis-1 and Seminar courses and failed.
• Students who cannot complete their credit courses in the program curriculum with a 3.00 GPA at the end of four semesters and who cannot successfully complete Thesis-1 and Seminar courses or who cannot meet the success conditions/criteria stipulated by the Higher Education Institution during this period

General Rules:

• You can benefit from the right to take additional exams for a maximum of 2 courses (with F/C/C+/B- grades).
• Additional exam cannot be taken for the course with NA grade.
• Additional exam cannot be taken for Thesis, Seminar or Project.
• Students with missing credit courses cannot benefit from the additional exam right

Application:

• Applications will be received by hand and the additional exam request form will be delivered to the Graduate Education Institute Student Affairs Unit with a wet signature.
• Students residing abroad or out of town can send their additional exam request forms (signed) in pdf format to [email protected] or [email protected] e-mail addresses.
