IAESTE (the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience), a non-profit, independent, and impartial technical intern student exchange organization was established in 1948 at Imperial College London in England with the initiatives of many countries. The primary purpose of IAESTE is to exchange internships in technical fields, and one of its most important advantages is to bring together students as future engineers, architects, and managers from different countries in order to provide social and cultural sharing and rapprochement.

The graduation ceremony for the 2020 - 2021 academic year of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Bahcesehir University was held at Bau Future Campus on Friday, July 30.

The launch of the "Futurabox" artificial intelligence project, created in cooperation with Bahçeşehir University and Ata Holding, was held at Bau Future Campus on July 6. Our rector Prof. Dr. Sirin Karadeniz made the opening speeches. Prof.Dr. Nafiz Arica Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Bahcesehir University and Ata Holding general coordinator Tuncer Köklü explained the Futurabox project and its details at the launch.

Four more undergraduate programs of Bahcesehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences were accredited by Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK).

"Capstone Project Exhibition and Competition" event organized by Bahcesehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was held at South Campus A Garden with the participation of Prof.Şirin Karadeniz on July 2, 2021. 

Our University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Academician Assoc. Dr. Ozan AKDOĞAN's business idea; “Development of Lanthanides, Lanthanide Oxides and Permanent Magnets by Recycling for Automotive, Energy and Defense Industries”  was qualified to be supported.

Fanuc, which works for young people to create a qualified labor force in the field of factory automation, cooperated with our university within the scope of the CO-OP branded course program given at Bahcesehir University.

Our Faculty Member Dr. Caglar Sivri won the second prize in the “Academician Category” with the project "Developing Air Conditioning Filter For Cars and Public Transport" at the "Aosb industry-oriented R & Dec and Innovation Project competition".

Mechatronics Engineering students Fatih AKPINAR and Kaan İnan with their project “Detection of Underwater Optical Attenuation with 8-bit RGB Colors and Comparison with Spectrum Analyzer” have qualified to be supported by TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2209-A Research Project Support Programme.

Bahcesehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences SERKAN Ayvaz's TUBITAK TEYDEB supported project won third place in the “Information Visionary” category at IDC Turkey DX Awards.

Within the results of scientific evaluation of Katip Celebi Newton Fund - Transforming Systems Through Partnerships Programme, “Improvement of Engineering Curriculum Considering Green Economics with Industry Aspects” titled project which is under the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences' Assist Prof. Gürkan SOYKAN, with the contributions of BlockchainIST Center and Continuing Education Center, has been qualified to be supported of 18 months with a 17.096,50 pound budget. 

Within the results of scientific evaluation of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1002 - Short Term R&D Funding Program, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Assoc. Prof. Armağan Fatih KARAMANLI’s project called “Forced vibration analysis of multi-directional functionally graded porous microplates subjected to moving loads” has been qualified to be supported for 12 months.

Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences projects titled “SU-COOTER” designed by our students were awarded first place in the “InnoBU” innovation competition.
