DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN – TAPLAK–İMEPAK ACCREDITATION PROCESS
- As of January 2026, the Self-Evaluation Report of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design will be submitted for evaluation to İMEPAK (Interior Architecture Education Programs Accreditation Board) under TAPLAK (Design Planning Accreditation Association).
- As of October 2025, an official application was submitted for the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design to be evaluated by İMEPAK - TAPLAK.
- Research Assistant Arda Çalışkan (March 2024), Prof. Dr. Sezin Tanrıöver (June 2023), and Research Assistant Beril Gök (May 2023) were appointed by İMEPAK - TAPLAK and served on “Accreditation Evaluation Teams” for applicant educational institutions.
- In December 2022, three interior architecture faculty members of the BAU Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, participated in the “Evaluator Training Seminars” organized by İMEPAK - TAPLAK.
- In November 2022, the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design of BAU Faculty of Architecture and Design participated in the “Accreditation Training Seminars” organized by İMEPAK - TAPLAK.
- Prof. Dr. Sezin Tanrıöver, Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, is a Member of the İMEPAK Executive Board (2022), a Full Member of the İMEPAK Accreditation Board (2022-26), and a Member of the İMEPAK Education Commission (2022-26).
