Computer Engineering

Bahçeşehir University Computer Engineering Department maintains the following programs at undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of computer science, engineering and information technologies:

• Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program
• Computer Engineering Graduate Program
• Information Technologies Graduate Program (in conjunction with the Software Engineering Department)
• Embedded Systems Graduate Program (in conjunction with the Electric-Electronic Engineering and the Software Engineering Departments)
• Information Systems Services Graduate Program (along with the Software Engineering Department)

Computer Engineering Department conducts research in the field of computer science and engineering. Research fileds are based on the following branches:

• Embedded Systems: It is an area for whom are interested in IC/FPGA Design (VLSI), embedded hardware/software design, software/hardware test/verification, machine/computer vision, embedded video systems, industrial automation, and robots..
• Computer Networks and Mobile Communications: It is an area of expertise for those who are interested in information and communication technologies and desires gaining competence in applications such as Mobile and Wireless Communication, Cloud Computing and Network Security.
• Artfical Intelligence: This program aims to expertise for whom interested in artificial neural networks, representation systems and data mining methods.
• Information Systems: Research studies about information systems focus on database systems, computer networks, computer graphics, distributed and scientific calculation, online learning, cryptography, and web programming.
